In Chinese culture, when a hunter brought home a goat it was considered an excellent omen. Considered calm and gentle, the goat also symbolises peace and harmony, and its best traits will set the mood for the year to come.
With these good signs, the 2015 Lunar Festival in St Albans is promising to be even bigger and better than before. There will be food stalls, theme park rides, entertainment on the main stage and, of course, fireworks.
The Festival, which has now been running for more than 10 years, is organised by the St Albans Business Group Association Inc.
