‘Ang pao’ are the red packets that are gifted to family and friends for important celebrations including Chinese New Year. Usually filled with money, the red packets are represent good wishes of prosperity, long life and good health.

Guests who purchase tickets take a flight with the Melbourne Star between 8 – 17 February will receive a red packet, containing a small promotional offer.

Guests who visit in the evening from 8 – 17 February will also see some of the Harbourtown rooftops light up as part as the Star’s specially themed Chinese New Year projected imagery display.
